PSA – Day 12

Sweetly cloying, the smells of Spring;
Hyacinth, take it easy,
I can smell you from across the yard.
Bumbling bees buzz lazily,
drunk upon saccharine nectar.
Don’t drink and drive, kids,
you’ll weigh your blossoms down
when you come to land.
They take but a sip from nodding blooms,
jaunt away sated and humming;
the bees know when they’ve had enough.
